Couldn’t agree more. Focusing on this project got me through some pretty tough times.

Hey everybody, I’m really excited about this. Invisible Engine started working on this project back in May, but I would say that Sean originally conceived this idea as early as Summer 2006.

At first, when Sean came to Matt and I with the concept, we agreed initially that it was much too massive in scope to even try to accomplish. After all, we’re just three guys, and here was this Big Idea that was asking for an incredible amount of time and dedication.

But in the end we could not elude its magnetism. We HAD to do this, and I think after hours upon hours, indeed after MONTHS of blood, sweat, and tears, after several 3am shouting matches about “integrity” and “vision,” the finished product stands as a testament to what three people can do when they put their minds to it, and above all, it stands as a testament to the friendship between us.

Special thanks to Dave and James from Ghostlight for doing the intensive VFX work, for going on that retreat with us to discuss how would we tackle the almighty questions of HOW? and IS THIS POSSIBLE?, and thanks to all of our friends and family who supported us during the making of this beast.

I’ll admit, this project had some pretty dark moments. A very special thanks to Scott for coming in and really saving the day on this… you have no idea how much that means to us. You are our hero!!!!

I’m glad it’s over, but I am forever enriched by the experience. It’s changed my life, and I know the same is true for Matt and Sean. When we look back ten years from now, and need to point to something that defines this moment, this period in our lives, it will be this.
