Some thoughts:
I fucking love Huey Lewis and I love this song.
Huey looks not only like he has wandered into a club, but also like he has wandered into someone else’s music video.
No one seems very confident in what they are doing, both in front of and behind the camera. It feels like if you asked everyone involved what they did the day they shot this, they would sort of mumble reply “We shot a… music video?”
Huey’s awkward take at 00:43 made me burst out laughing.
Muppet Babies footage-behind-open-door effect.
Feel like maybe some cocaine went into the making of this, but not nearly enough.
Vampire teeth.
I will happily remake this.
